My Project

My students are in middle and high school and are eagerly learning English as they start their journies in the United States. Our school provides breakfast and lunch, but a significant gap exists. Also, the meals don't always fit with what students are comfortable eating. I like to keep snacks in our room that students are familiar with. No one can learn when hungry, and my students love learning.

A granola bar and a bag of popcorn go a long way in creating a safe learning environment.

This project provides not only nutrition but a sense of safety as well.
