My Project

This day in age, with all of the technology at our fingertips, schools are noticing lots of distractions that are keeping students from learning. First, students all have cell phones. I am asking for a protective lock box to store in my classroom for storing my students' cell phones while they are in classes. I have gotten a lockbox previously and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately with wear and tear the last few years, we are in need of a new one.

These new materials for our classroom will increase my students' learning and decrease distractions and excuses.

Students often have station rotations or classwork that is on their computers. However, not all of my students come in with fully charged Chromebooks on a daily basis. So for my second item, I am asking for some power towers for each of my table groups so that students are able to charge while they work.

Third, a lot of my students have older Chromebooks which do not have very great accessories. A lot of them have lagging mouse pads. The number one thing students ask me for is mice. So, I am asking for a class set of mice as well.

Finally, we need to upgrade our headphones. After a few years of wear and tear we could use some new headphones and storage for them.

All of these items will enhance the learning in my classroom by providing things that will make things easier for my students. My goal is to decrease distractions and excuses so that we have even more effective learning happening.
