Mini Classroom Economy System

Help me give my students a real life experience with a classroom economy. We need prizes for the store, a cart to keep the store in, and zippered bags for each student to keep their money in.

My Project

My students need real-life experiences with managing money. With this system, students will earn class dollars for hard work, good behavior, and classroom chores. They will then "pay their bills," such as desk rent and "restitution" for poor choices. With the money that is left, they can buy neat prizes from our class store. Prizes will vary in value, so they can learn the save up for something.

This project includes prizes for the store, a cart to keep the store in, and zippered bags for each student to keep their money in.

This class management system is effective in encouraging each student to make good choices because it has immediate consequences, both negative and positive.
