My Project

Kindergarteners learn best when they can touch, move, and explore. My goal is to transform our center time into a hub of independent, hands-on discovery, but we currently lack the tactile tools to make that happen.

This project provides versatile, sensory-rich materials that will build both academic and social skills:

Inquiry & Collaboration: The stampers, spinners, and popping dice will turn standard math and literacy lessons into interactive games. Because these tools are highly engaging, students will learn to collaborate and problem-solve with less teacher intervention.

Sensory Regulation: Materials like Theraputty, magnets, and pluffle provide essential sensory input. These tools help energetic 5-year-olds regulate their bodies, focus their minds, and stay engaged in learning.

Independence: Visual timers will teach vital social-emotional skills like time management, sharing, and patience.

Your support will help me move away from worksheets and move toward a classroom of independent, curious, and joyful learners. Thank you for investing in our classroom!
