My Project
Students at KHS are experiencing high levels of anxiety and conflict in their lives. These snacks and crafts will support students participating in the Kailua High Peer Mediation Program, Positive Coping Group and Mindfulness Yoga. Past awards from Donor's Choose have been important due to the fact that students miss their lunch period to attend these groups so these snacks are both motivational for students as well as serving as their lunch. Students have shared in the past that these snacks from Donor's Choose brighten their day and that they like attending groups not only for the skills they are learning but for the snacks. Thank you for continuing to support KHS’s SEL programs through this donation.
