This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

With the stacking chairs and cots purchased, I will be constructing a dynamic mindfulness classroom. As an educator, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges students face with self-care, social-emotional learning, and maintaining positive mental health. These issues often impact their academic growth and overall well-being. In preparation for the upcoming school year, my top priority is to create a classroom environment using the materials that are ordered. Our classroom will prioritize mindfulness activities daily. By incorporating mindfulness practices into our daily routine, we aim to provide students with the tools to navigate stress, build resilience, and cultivate a positive mindset. Your contribution to our mindfulness classroom will make a significant difference in the lives of our students. Your generosity will help create a supportive learning environment that fosters emotional well-being and academic success.
