My Students

Reading is the key to success. Fun, exciting reading activities will help my students succeed.

I teach in a military town at a school that serves a large military population.

These students sometimes attend a different school every year. While I have these children in my classroom, I want to provide them with exciting opportunities and fun ways to help them expand their reading skills.

My Project

Reading is the hardest subject to teach. Practice helps improve a child's reading abilities. But, if a child struggles, they don't like to practice. That is why it is important to surround students with fun and exciting ways to practice and improve their skills. I am asking for donations to purchase reading activities to use in small groups. These activities will help students practice reading skills such as sequencing, cause / effect, main idea, and making comparisons. I've also requested phonics skills activities that will help students learn to decode words and read more fluently. All of the items I'm requesting, can be used in small groups to help improve reading skills.

Your donation will help impact these childrens lives for a long time.

I am thankful for the job that the men and woman in the military perform each day. In return, I want the military mom's and dad's to be thankful for the job I do with their children each day. Please help me, help others by improving my resources.
