Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am School Counselor in a Middle School in one of New Jersey's urban districts. Most of my students have been in the United States for a few years, but they are all still learning to appreciate and love the English language through books. They are an eager group of students determined to master the English language. Most of their parents do not speak English, so school can be especially challenging for them since they have little help with school work at home.

My Project

Students in our school don't all have cell phones so they will be a camera to walk around during school events and take picture for the school yearbook. We will have the camera available for Yearbook club members to use during school events and games.

Every student should have a yearbook to remember these important fun times in their school career.
