Middle School Seating Options

My students need wobble chairs. These seem like they would be great for my kids who are more active or have ADHD. I believe these chairs might help kids concentrate better.

My Students

My students are participating in a special program within our school. My Title I school serves about 900 students. We also house many special programs. One of the special programs we offer is for gifted learners. This program has around 300 students in grades 6-8 and I teach about 155 of these students.

My students enjoy learning and look forward to being exposed to new material.

They are inquisitive, hard working and are always looking for new challenges. My students also love to play fun and interesting games in our free time or advisory.

My Project

This project will help bring flexible seating options to my classroom. The wobble chairs will help with several kids who need to move. These seating options will give some of my kids the flexibility to move and be able to focus more on learning math during class. For some kids, the every other day block is a challenge. I have read that many classroom teachers are finding a lot of success with flexible seating options. I would really like to see if this will help my own students during math class. It would be great to offer a few kids an option in each of my classes.
