This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school has a community table area where donated clothes and books are left for the students to take what they need. I would like to add a hygiene station to this area. Some students may not be able to afford basic hygiene products while others may need them intermittently. Other students may be afraid or embarrassed to ask for this type of assistance.

This project will get us started with a cart and some supplies.

All students in the school will be able to discreetly access these products so they can take care of themselves without the embarrassment of having to ask a staff member for personal hygiene products.
