Thanks to your donations you have ensure more than 80 English Learners a cozy, warm winter. Still to this very day, I see students bringing their gloves and hats to school to keep warm as the morning breeze can be quite chilly. I was able to share the remaining donations to the community table so other students around the school were welcome to take as they needed. \r\n\r\nThe students were really excited to see the hats and gloves! They were eager to be handed some, and put them on immediately as they were close to dismissal time. On that particular day when they were distributed, there was a very strong cold wind with temperatures below freezing! A lot of students felt warm and loved. Some went as far to give us hugs and express their deep gratitude. \r\n\r\nAs the year continues, I wish to soon develop another project in which to provide common self care and hygiene products for any student who needs it.
