Help me give my students a “care cart” filled with basic necessities that all students will have access to! I also need some classroom decor/supplies as I am transitioning from elementary to middle school!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This upcoming school year I will be transitioning to middle school! My plan is to create a warm and welcoming learning space equipped with a “Take What You Need” cart where I offer all of my students to use/have any items they may need for hygiene, first aid, hair, school supplies and food. I am requesting toothbrushes, deodorant, hair brushes, hair accessories, and more. All of these items they will have access to everyday!
I also want to have things for classes to work towards such as candy, stickers, custom cups, class parties, movie days etc.
We will have bucket fillers based on participation, kindness, and respect for not only each other but our beautiful classroom.
Any contribution to my wish list will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
