I am requesting these items to create a calming corner for my middle school students. They often struggle to get their thoughts together and find a space to calm down or meditate.
They would benefit from a comfortable space to allow them to regroup from a difficult situation, whether at home or school.
The students would use the bean bag chairs to comfortably converse with each other to solve problems restoratively, meditate or build relationships. The puzzles would serve the same purpose. The lights, essential oils, rug, pillows and other decor would make the space more relaxing and ensure the students can regroup and get back to their academic classes and focus on learning as the best versions of themselves.
