Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
It never ceases to amaze me how quickly we can go through supplies in a school year. My class of kindergarteners love to be creative and imaginative. They love to express their thoughts and feelings through drawing and writing. At times I can get frustrated at how quickly we go through our supplies.
I want to encourage their creativeness and not worry about how fast the supplies are being used.
Our biggest needs include glue sticks and dry-erase markers. Scissors and new pencils boxes would also be appreciated.
With these supplies, my students will be able to continue to create and work on their writing skills.
