My Project
As the year progresses, my students are in desperate need of some new supplies to finish the year out. We go through a lot of pencils, erasers, pens, sharpies, sticky notes, and highlighters throughout the year.
My students have been working so hard this year and deserve new supplies as the ones from the beginning of the year are running low.
We use these supplies in math, reading, science, writing, and social studies every day to find evidence and to show our thinking during math. Having enough materials to last us the whole year is really important!
I am always appreciative of my families bringing supplies at the beginning of the year to help us get the year started but as the year goes on, we need new supplies to keep our classroom running smoothly.
Sticky notes are important to use when we are finding evidence in our class novel and I often use them for students to share their thinking from their own books with partners or the whole group. Highlighters are also great when we are reading passages in class and highlighting evidence to support our thinking.
