My students need Supplies, Supplies, Supplies! like pencil sharpeners, paper and markers. Our room wants to finish the year strong. We need the proper tools to do so!

My Students

My twenty two students are young and energetic second graders that are always working towards achieving their best. They are truly a joy to teach and they are dedicated to the growth of their own learning. Each day my students are making strides to reach weekly, monthly, and year long goals that they have set for themselves. My second graders come to me with diverse learning needs, backgrounds, and skill sets. As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.

Despite the many challenges they face, I am trying to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences based on their individual needs.

My Project

We are more than half way through the year. We have been working so hard and making incredible gains. I am so proud of the social, emotional and academic growth the students in our room have made. We have a lot more to do!

Supplies are depleted in our room.

We need many of the necessities for our learning to continue to grow in the second grade!

Paper is scarce, glue sticks are dried up, pencils are too small for these hard working students. Please consider donating to our classroom. We are ready to finish strong and be prepared for the third grade!
