My Project

Our class Mid-Day Brain Fuel Pit Stop is a supportive classroom initiative designed to help ensure that all students are ready to learn and succeed throughout the school day. As a Title I school, many students arrive without a snack, which can impact their focus, energy, and ability to fully engage in learning. This program allows me to provide a small, healthy snack to students who need one so they can refuel their brains and stay focused during the afternoon. By meeting this basic need, we help improve concentration, behavior, and overall academic performance while creating a caring and supportive classroom environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
