Microscopes: Let’s Take a Closer Look!

My Project

My students are a young, curious bunch and love picking tiny things up off the ground. I thought this would be a fun chance for our classroom to get a couple of digital microscopes to help them take a closer look at things.

Having microscopes with a digital screen allows multiple students to investigate at the same time and learn together in an exciting way!

The handheld microscopes, which require AAA batteries, were chosen for their durability and would be an exciting tool to have during our outdoor excursions. The prepared microscope slides provide additional examples of microscopic specimens for students to investigate. The petri dishes would be used to hold the tiny pieces that they collect and want to take a closer look at under the digital microscopes. My students love being scientists and thrive on new activities that support their interests. Thank you!
