Microscope Technology For Veterinary Science Program

Help me give my students the gift of learning! A microscope camera will allow me to show a live view of a single microscope slide so students can work collectively to evaluate samples for veterinary parasitology and cytology!

My Project

Please consider helping to fund a microscope camera for my Veterinary Science students! We have some working microscopes, but there aren’t enough for each student to have at their own station. This microscope camera will allow all of my 11th and 12th grade students to see a live feed of one microscope.

Having this camera would mean that I could have an entire class work collectively on prepared case studies for our veterinary parasitology and cytology units.

Our main work based learning project is our on campus wellness and vaccine clinic where students work as vet assistants alongside a licensed Veterinarian to treat real owned patients as a service to our students, staff, and local community. This camera will make it possible to show off any interesting sample findings to review as a whole class!
