Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Learning to code is an essential skill for our kiddos to be part of the 21st-century workforce.

The robot kits requested will allow the students of PS 376 to learn how to build and program Micro:bits to avoid obstacles, move on a designated track, follow a light source, display colorful lights, send sound signals and the list goes on.

Students will use computational thinking skills to learn how to use Makecode Graphical Programming and Python Code to program the robots. These skills are the foundation for future opportunities and success in the 21-century.

Our students need exciting and fun opportunities to build computer science and digital fluency skills. Please help us build these proficiencies.
