My Students

I work in a Title I school district with a diverse group of kids. These students come from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Most love to come to school and strive to learn and improve every day.

Many of these kids love to read and explore the world through science.

They are always looking for new things to explore around them or looking for new books to spark their imagination. They are a great class with an amazing sense of adventure.

My Project

Our third grade students struggle to complete all the tasks necessary online with a computer touch pad. They are still developing some of those fine motor skills to be able to be successful at using the touch pad to draw, drag and drop, highlight text, and much more.The computer mice will help students better be able to complete these tasks on programs such as near-pod, Lexia, Edulastic, and others used to enhance their learning in the classroom. The baskets will help us keep things organized and easy to find when the mice are needed.
