My Project

Our school, nestled in central New Mexico amidst the southern Rocky Mountains, is home to a vibrant community of students eager to excel both academically and athletically. Despite facing various challenges, including socio-economic disparities and disabilities, the students of our school are determined to showcase their talents and compete at the highest levels.

With a student population spanning grades 9-12 and totaling 124 individuals, our embraces diversity and inclusivity.

Recognizing the potential of eSports as a platform for empowerment and skill development, the school established the Mescalero eChiefs team. This initiative specifically targets disadvantaged and disabled students, providing them with opportunities to participate in competitive gaming.

Building on this foundation, the eChiefs are gearing up for the upcoming season with a strategic approach. Recognizing the diverse talents and interests of team members, the coach has diversified the game selection. The team has chosen to focus on competitive titles such as Splatoon, Madden, and NBA2K, leveraging their individual strengths and expertise.

As the eChiefs prepare for the upcoming season, they face a critical challenge: acquiring the necessary gaming titles for practice and competition. Unfortunately, the costs associated with purchasing these games pose a significant financial burden for the school and its students.

In light of this, the Mescalero eChiefs humbly seek sponsorship and support from generous donors and organizations for an Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and projector. Your contribution will not only enable the team to acquire essential gaming titles but also empower students to pursue their passion for eSports and represent their community with pride. With your support, the eChiefs will continue to defy expectations, overcome challenges, and emerge as champions both on and off the digital battlefield.
