My Project

Can a classroom have too many picture books? The obvious answer is NO! Picture books are the perfect answer to so many questions. We will use these picture books in our classroom to learn about ourselves, others, and cool things around us. We will use these picture books to help us become better writers. We will use the picture books to build our reading community in our classroom. We will use these picture books to laugh, cry, foster friendships, find passions, learn empathy, and have amazing conversations.

Picture books truly level the field and give every student in our classroom the opportunity to learn, to be seen, and to be heard.
