Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are willing to learn and compete to become better student-athletes and they need the proper equipment to become successful on and off the field or court. With a DonorsChoose project, we will be able to give them the opportunity to compete and become better students and athletes for the whole school and student body. It will help students become more involved with sports and extra-curricular activities. It will help our students from the inner city become more involved with sports.

My Project

The equipment that we need will help kids gain mental toughness on and off the court from putting in the work and the necessary reps it will make game-like conditions feel just like practice.

The leg press will help with fighting through the pain of getting better and getting gains on there body and give them a mental toughness of no pain no gain.

The shooting machine will help with focusing on making baskets while tired and fatigued so in game situations, it will be second nature for them without having a mental block to see made baskets go in.
