This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project contains essentials needed for the mental health space in our school that supports kids with IEPs. All supplies are needed to help supply students with resources they need in school. These items are important so they can get support on assignments, get creative to calm their bodies and minds, and regulate their emotions. The laptop will be used for those kids that forgot their devices that need to work on various school related tasks and for social/emotional evaluations and curriculum. The printer is for school assignments as well as wellness reminders and to help them reach their mental health goals. The laminator will be used to laminate important coping tools, support with goal setting and progress monitoring , and other materials used in the mental health room. The music books will be utilized for singing time with our significant needs kids.
