With the funding you provided, we were able to purchase important materials and resources to help our students succeed. \r\n\r\nWhile Social-Emotional Learning is somewhat of a new buzzword in education, the impact of its implementation is incredible. The Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) resources and materials that we purchased are playing a crucial role in helping our students develop the skills needed for success in both their academic and personal lives. By providing tools that teach emotional regulation, empathy, communication, and problem-solving, these SEL resources are helping our teenagers build strong interpersonal relationships, manage stress, and navigate challenges with resilience. These materials foster a deeper understanding of self-awareness and self-management, which are essential for making thoughtful decisions and achieving long-term goals. With SEL, students can enhance their emotional intelligence, which not only supports their academic success but also lays a foundation for future personal and professional growth. By integrating SEL into everyday life, our students are better equipped to handle the complexities of adolescence and transition into adulthood with confidence and emotional stability.","fullyFundedDate":1724349396282,"projectUrl":"project/mental-health-and-sel-supports-through-l/8681416/","projectTitle":"Mental Health and SEL Supports Through Leadership Class!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Riley O'Rourke","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9232455"},{"teacherId":9635184,"projectId":8587560,"letterContent":"Promoting a desire to read has been a goal of mine as an educator for the past three years.
