Sensory toys and stress balls help kids direct their worries and energy in a positive way and allows them to focus while in the classroom. Comfortable seating and toys help students feel relaxed and safe, making it easier to calm their minds and bodies and have open and constructive conversations about the many obstacles they face each day and how they can be successful. There is also food insecurity in this area, so healthy snacks are essential to help kids stay focused and engaged in the classroom. At a Title I school, basic and social emotional needs often interfere with academic success. This donation helps kids meet these needs so they have more chances for success both at school and life. Our primary goal here at our school is to ensure that all students are happy, healthy and safe--thank you for helping us do just that.
