My Project

This project is focused on the needs of my self-contained high school special education students and our life skills program. These students all have multiple disabilities and health impairments. They have had significant trauma and struggle with mental health, behaviors, cognitive abilities and social emotional awareness.

The items selected have been chosen specifically to provide support to all students in our program and foster inclusivity.

The couch and chair selected would offer a safe and clean space and provide a calm sensory friendly area in our classroom where students can work on important life skills and functional academics. Please help these wonderful students!
