Mental Health Awareness Day

Help me give my students poster board, markers, stickers, and glue sticks to make vision boards during our school wide mental health awareness day.

My Project

I have a very active Yellow Tulip Group at my school. This group works hard to spread messages of hope and end the stigma of mental health. They are planning a school-wide Mental Health awareness day for all students in our high school. This day will have speakers and stations for students to learn about positive ways to deal with stress in their lives. One of the things they would like to do is spread the message of hope by having students create vision boards with their goals.

This project will give them the materials of boards, glue, stickers, and washi tape along with other supplies to help the students at our school visualize their goals.

These materials will help students to look at things that bring them joy and happiness which will ease some of the stress levels of our students.

As we all know mental health in our country is a huge issue and finding resources and supporting students to create hope, dreams and aspirations is key.
