My Students

Our class is a team. These 5th graders are energetic, spirited, and fun. We strive to always do our best and work hard toward our individual goals. We try to have a growth mindset and celebrate the growth each student makes. They are always ready for a challenge and when struggling, we work together to help them grow. This group is always striving to do their best and up for challenges. They are truly inspiring and an amazing group to work with every day.

My Project

By giving each student their own Chromebook it will not only support lessons in the classroom, but it will help to fill gaps in skills they may need more practice in. These programs help students in the area of math concepts, math facts, spelling, vocabulary, reading, writing, and science. Students are able to work at their skill level and at their speed of learning with the use of Chromebooks. In our class, we have students that are working at a primary level to high school level in reading and in math, which makes differentiating difficult at times. The great thing about a lot of the programs that we have access to online, is that they are able to challenge students at their level whether it be that they need extra practice on skills or if they are needing a challenge that is above 5th grade level.
