My Project

My middle school elective class produces and creates a seven to ten-minute morning announcements for the whole Pre-K through High School called The Trillium TEA. TEA stands for Trillium Entertainment Association. Students write, produce, and announce the morning announcements, report the weather, lunch, and each day we have a special segment of the day. Our daily segments include Monday Laughs, Tuesday Dictionary Detectives, Wednesday Art, Thursday Travel, and Friday Man on the Street.

The materials for this project will enhance our daily show, motivate students to continue to work hard, and inspire them to have a job in the media field.

The new iPad and camera will be used for students to record each episode. The screen protector and iPad case will ensure that the iPad will be protected and will last for years to come. The stands will be used to provide a steady camera. The microphones will be used throughout the broadcast. The joke books will be used for the Monday segments. The backdrops and stands will also be used during certain segments of the show.

This project will be used by the 30 Middle School students in my class, but the benefits from this project will impact the whole school with more than 500 students.
