Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 9th-grade health students frequently come to class without a pencil or pen, which makes completing paper assignments difficult. To resolve this, I can pass out my own writing utensils or send students downstairs to get their own pens or pencils from the supply closet. To keep things moving, I have purchased my pencils and pens to pass out to students as needed.

However, This gets expensive as we go through what feels like billions of pens and pencils daily.

To solve this problem once and for all, I would appreciate support in purchasing this never-ending supply of colorful mechanical pencils (3600 pencils, to be exact) to fulfill our need for this coming school year. Thank you for supporting such a basic but essential project. Your donation helps keep students in class and learning.
