My Project

I love how curious and resilient my students are. They come into class willing to try, ask questions, and support one another, even when math feels challenging. Many of them are eager to participate, answer questions, and seek help when needed, which creates a positive and engaging learning environment. They take pride in their progress, and it’s rewarding to see their confidence grow as they begin to understand concepts that once seemed difficult.

I am requesting basic classroom supplies such as card stock, lamination sheets, binding combs, cleaning wipes, room fresheners, and organizers to better support my Geometry and Statistics students.

These materials will help me create durable, reusable instructional resources such as task cards, math games, graphic organizers, and hands-on activities that make learning more engaging and interactive. Laminating and binding these materials will ensure they last throughout the year and can be used by multiple classes. With interactive materials and tools, students will be able to visualize geometric concepts, explore shapes and their properties, and better understand surface area, volume, and spatial reasoning. In Statistics, these resources will allow students to collect, analyze, and interpret real data, making learning more relevant and engaging.

These materials will also support different learning styles by offering visual, tactile, and collaborative opportunities. Students who struggle with abstract concepts will benefit from seeing and manipulating models, while others will deepen their understanding through real-world applications and group activities. Overall, these resources will help bridge gaps caused by absences or missed instruction and ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed and feel confident in math.
