My Project

In our class, everyday is Earth Day! I am requesting a mobile cart to create a space in our classroom where students can express their love of the Earth with displayed art and recyclable materials (in bottom bins). Students love to create murals and use recyclable materials for makerspace time but we have such a small space that students have no place to create or store their projects.

Having a permanent "Environmental Creation" space in our classroom will show students that composting, reusing, recycling do not have to be limited to just Earth Day.

The thematic books will help spark interest and promote colorful everlasting themes. This center will easily be accessed every day as we learn through Project Based Learning and one of our large units is Our Community. We can't wait to have this center space available in our classroom next year.
