This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It's important for our runners to stay consistent with their training, and that is most difficult during the summer months when school team practices take a pause. It is challenging because the team atmosphere isn't there anymore and the temperature becomes hotter.
Hydration backpacks may motivate more of our runners to continue running over the summer!
We hope that by eliminating the problem of carrying a big, heavy water bottle while running or finding a place to run where there is a public water fountain, more of our runners will want to continue training in July and August. If that happens, then they will continue to grow as runners!
