I have the best students a teacher could ask!

Sure, we have our days, but 99% of the time, I would describe a day at "work" with my students as a GREAT day. They are eager to learn. They want to do well in school so that they can go on to college, many of them as the first ones in their families. They are respectful and hungry to learn. They are the reason I love my profession! It is because of my students that I have faith in the future. They are going to change the world, they just need the tools to accomplish it!

My Project

We need more laptops! Technology is not just a fad or a trend that will go out with high waist shorts! It is here to stay and is becoming more and more important. Without access to technology in the classroom, my students will be left behind. Low income students are already at risk of failure and drop out without this obstacle! The absence of technology in the classroom just adds another one to the list!

We need technology at our fingerprints in our classrooms in order to provide our students with the tools they need to be successful.

It provides a connection with the world! It allows for the use of tools such as Google Classroom. This encourages our students to collaborate and develop better social skills at the same time! Laptops in my classroom would allow for more discovery learning. They will become accountable for their own learning, which will mold them into responsible adults!
