My students are caring, hard-working, and helpful. They strive to be the best version of themselves and to help others along the way. They enjoy learning and motivate each other when they need it.
My students encourage each other and encourage me to become great.
They have dreams that are their own and can not be changed by others. When mistakes are made, they learn from them and move on. They make me proud to be their teacher. The students in my class enjoy moving as they learn. My school is a Title I school in a small, rural community.
My Project
There are several areas of teaching which truly engage students and provide them with learning opportunities which are interactive. These areas are technology and stations. My classroom was fortunate enough to have 5 iPads donated last school year. In order to use these in the most effective manner, we need protective cases on them. There are several apps which the students will be able to use independently as long as they have cases to keep them safe.
Stations provide an opportunity for students to choose the way they learn best.
It gives them a chance to be in control of their learning. Along with this, it provides engaging learning so that they want to complete these tasks and want to learn the most they can.
