My students need ways of moving throughout their time of learning. The students want to be able to continue their time of movement while learning at the same time. They think this project would be helpful to them because it allows just that. We will also use the fitness balls for different yoga activities which the children really enjoy to do. The students and I have come up with a plan to use this seating to create stations with different seating options that they will be able to change each day. This will allow their bodies to move in a different way depending on the seat they have for the day. The students want wobble stools to practice their balance and movement throughout the day. The bean bag chairs and the wobble seats will also allow for different movements that the students would not get if they were sitting in a typical chair. The students are very excited about this project and they are hopeful to be able to wiggle while they work!
