Help me give my students a good start in math. The easel will allow all of the students to better see the lessons I'm teaching. The math counters will be great for counting collections.
My students are amazing! They enter kindergarten in September a little timid, a little shy, but ready to learn. When they leave in June, they will be confident, responsible students who love to learn!
My class is made up of boys and girls from countries all over the globe who work together to make learning fun!
At their age, everything is new to them so hearing a new story or playing a learning game with a classmate brings them so much joy.
My Project
Some of my students enter school knowing nothing about numbers, so I need to start with the basics. That means a lot of counting! Being able to count is where math begins, so my students need to be strong in this area.
To do this, we begin the year with a lot of counting, but counting the same things every day can get boring, so the counters will make it fun!
The blank dice will be awesome! The uses are endless and I can number the dice from 0-5 to work on fluency activities and begin to teach addition and subtraction.
