My students are in kindergarten, so everything is exciting and new to them! They love everything from learning to read to doing PE activities. They love to "play" and don't even realize that they are learning important social or educational skills. They enjoy having responsibilities and being in charge of their own learning through Daily 5 activities or STEM centers. Having choices and making decisions are new to most of them and are an integral part of being a student. An organized learning environment with a variety of activities will help the many different types of learners in my classroom. From students with special needs to those who are just learning English, the range of abilities and knowledge is huge. Anything I can do to address this will be a great help.
