Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My 8th grade students are amazing workers. They work extremely hard to achieve their maximum potential and are willing to overcome any obstacles that may present on their way to insure success in their education. I am very proud of their hard work and their progress this school year!
My Project
My students will benefit tremendously from the products selected; MATHia is a challenging online math program, that helps students improve their math skills. The program involves a lot of reading and concentration, which at their age, can be a struggle; therefore, I believe that if I reward their progress with snacks or fun and cool incentives like the one chosen, it can increase their interest in the program and allow them to success in my math class.
Currently, every 5 workspaces completed, students are allowed to get a snack but buying the snacks is becoming a struggle for me.
