This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
This project will completely revolutionize my small group math. Each of these tools will be used to effectively improve my implementation of math workshop and therefore improve my student's mastery of topics. Each of the organizational tools, such as the pencil cases (with supplies) and laminating sheets for organization will help me to systematically create tasks for each grouping to keep students quickly and effectively on tasks for the duration of the period. The copy paper will allow for rotation skills can be reused along with more effective educator during my small group, and allow students to effectively explain thinking.
Student engagement during small group math is crucial.
The games and game materials will be used to engage students during game centers. They will apply knowledge and keep important skills fresh.
My goal for this project is to keep students on task, engaged and efficient workers during my math class to help them gain new learning!
