My Students

We have a diverse group of students that can learn in a variety of ways. They really thrive in a hands-on environment. They are curious, creative and ready to absorb knowledge. I have told them about various creative ideas that will help them learn and they are enthusiastic to come to school and have new ways of learning math, science, and language arts.

My Project

Math Wars is an interactive math competition that prepares students for the end of the year testing and the next grade level. Each classroom becomes a math planet where students travel to to compete against others using dry erase boards to show their final answer for their team.

Engaged math projects with manipulatives helps students retain critical curriculum standards.

These supplies and this project will encourage students, in a fun environment, to try their best and participate in math. Students in my class will thrive when given the opportunity to use hands on materials with a popular theme they enjoy.
