Do you remember playing your favorite game as a child?
Think of the anticipation and excitement you felt being engaged. My students share that excitement and joy when their learning is interactive and fun! My scholars are inquisitive, voracious, avid readers who are craving to discover the newest adventures in learning.
My Scholars are explorers, avid readers, and enthusiastic learners. Our mission is to inspire greatness in others. More than one-third on my students come from low income families and this project will help them become better learners.
My Project
The math supplies and games I would like to bring to my classroom will enhance my students' learning of the pre-kindergarten curriculum. The math workbooks, counting, number sequencing, sorting, and addition games will enable my students to understand the beginning concepts of problem solving while giving them the necessary practice they need. The pattern and shape games will help my students learn how to make patterns and identify shapes. Counting, making one-to-one correspondence and making ten are very important first steps in math for young scholars in kindergarten.
All these wonderful supplies in the early math centers set will help my students gain more knowledge of the kindergarten math curriculum.
By using these games in centers, my students will reinforce and review math skills taught in the classroom.
