This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

By requesting a printer, ink, dry erase markers, and mini whiteboards I will be expanding my student's learning in mathematics. These items will make a difference in my student's learning by supporting them throughout the lesson. Using whiteboards always makes math class more fun. Working in a low-income district makes it challenging to buy all the whiteboards needed for all my students.

My goal for this project is to give my students the resources that will make math more engaging.

Teaching math can be a struggle when you don’t have the resources needed. My students enjoy answering math problems with their markers on the whiteboard. Having a printer around the corner will also make it quicker and easier for me to have activities such as games, homework, and assignments ready for my students.

My students are special in many ways. They are hardworking and dedicated to their education. They are kind to one another and most importantly they don’t give up.
