My Project

I'm currently teaching 33 fifth grade students in a Title 1 school. My students are working on kindergarten thru fourth grade level and most haven't mastered their multiplication facts. I'm hearing a lot of excuses about how they missed out on a lot because of Covid. I'd like to move past the excuses and help my students master multiplication, so that they have a strong foundation as they continue their educational journey.

Most of my students come from low socio-economic backgrounds and don't have support at home.

My scholars haven't been taught to value education and I'm trying to teach why it's important to learn these skills and come to school daily. I feel like these games will help my struggling students master multiplication and division. My students will be able to play theses games in groups with their peers and not be intimidated as they master multiplication.
