Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school has over 93% free-and-reduced lunch program. We are also a Title I school. Many of our students come from challenging homes and don’t have the resources for simple classroom supplies. These kids deserve all that I can give them, but sadly, I have reached how much I can possibly give! Please help join me in giving these underprivileged kids the best that they deserve! My students may not have a lot, but that doesn't keep them from giving their education all they can.

My Project

My students are in need of math manipulatives and materials that they can manipulate. They are in pre-k and they need as much help as possible when it comes to manipulating. They also need to practice counting and recognizing numbers. One-to-one recognition is also important. These materials will help my students practice and get better in counting and learning their numbers.

The more things they manipulate, the better.

The students need to practice using their hands and brains to grow. The more they use their hands the better they are in writing.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
