This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income school district. My students do not get all the materials or technology that they need. The lack of resources hurts students who need support the most.

STEM is a great subject to incorporate hands-on learning activities.

At my school, we currently do not have access to many materials. I would like to get more STEM materials so I can spark my students' interest in Science and Math.

My students are hardworking, creative and future scientists.

My students work very hard and are always eager to learn. There is a wide range of learning abilities among my students.

My Project

My students need math manipulatives for their math class. This will help develop a greater understanding of math functions. The manipulatives will give them the opportunity to physically interact with different math concepts.

The math manipulatives will help my students to work through various types of math problems.

To become a future mathematicians, my students need math manipulatives so help me to allow my students to interact with the manipulatives and get ready for the real world and college. These manipulatives will help them to get inspired through the various activities and love math.
