This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love mathematics! They especially enjoy the days where they can take part in their learning with manipulatives.

With these Geoboards and the Dino Math game, students will learn by doing activities they enjoy.

Unfortunately, we are low on Geoboards, and my classroom had none this year. I've had to borrow from the other classrooms, and the ones borrowed are getting old and broken. In addition, if two teachers have the same lesson for the same day, one of the classrooms will not be able to use the manipulatives, leaving the lessons boring and less engaging. Students in second grade learn by doing, so with your help supplying the new Geoboards and math game, their learning will have no bounds!
