This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Math is not always a child's favorite subject. It can be intimidating and scary. It can be hard! and kids often enter my class already feeling defeated & worried before I ever even open my mouth.

But with the help of these resources, that is all about to change!

I want to give students an opportunity to experience lessons that last throughout their lifetimes, with an understanding of skills that will still be present well into oncoming school years. Therefore, I would love to offer hands-on, STEM, & project-based assignments to help with a more complete comprehension and application of these skill sets.

Project-based learning has proven to have such long-term benefits to helping students fully grasp and retain information in a whole new way!

Teachers Pay Teachers is an amazing resource for all sorts of online and in-class activities that will serve my students in every capacity, and it supports other teachers and their classrooms in the process! These gift cards will allow me to access interactive activities that will help engage even the toughest crowd. While I am attempting to prepare my own lessons to provide virtual instruction and hands-on experiences, having digital assignments & project-based learning opportunities to attach to these lessons would be an immense help. These online resources will assist and inspire my classes for years to come on every level.
